Well, I have been looking into quilting today. I am so excited. I went and did some shopping to look at how much it's going to cost to start. It's all cool, I am also going to look into classes to see if I can enroll! I'll be back! oxoxo
I love daffy duck his so cute. Well I just did the dumbest thing ever. In my quest to get rid of the sinus headaches I have been suffering, at my beautiful daughters suggestion, I took 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and mix them together. Then I nuked them for 20seconds and promptly drank it. Well I have never felt so sick in all my life. With my heart racing, sweating like a little pig, bad vision, legs aching and feeling so bilious I rang my mum for advice on what to do. When I had finished will my little tale of woes my Mum burst out laughing and said honey (no pun intended of course) it's 1 teaspoon of each. Not tablespoons. I had heard my daughter wrong. Man oh man I am such a dits I can't believe I got it so wrong. Oh well just another funny family story I guess. Mean while I still feel like I just want to through up!
Well, I am putting the finishing touches on our room today. Like cleaning and washing floors. Oh yes I must not forget to get black plastic for the windows while I make the new curtains. So once again off to Bunning! Anyhoo I hope everyone is having a good day and I am off to clean.
These are the fabrics I am going to use in my patchwork quilt for our bedroom! I may add more. I am not too sure yet. This is my first attempt at patchwork, so we will see how I go. I have been looking at patchwork blogs so much lately and trying to learn how it's done. I have also been buying books to learn from them. I so want to learn this craft. Ok! I have gotten my biscuits into the oven so we are 25 minutes away from yummy biscuits. These are my Hubby's and Son's favorite biscuits so I love making them. I will be back with the finished product!
Hi there well I had a lovely day I spent some of it with my Mum, Dad and friends so that was enjoyable and the rest of the day was spent Flying around my beautiful home. It's Thursday so I am off to spend time with my Mum and Dad. We attend a serious group together and I love it, learning from people that have been there and done it. Saves me from making a lot of silly mistakes in my life. I wish I had gotten involved years ago. They are all so sweet and loving so I look forward to time with them. Welcome to my kitchen. I love my kitchen because I make so many yummy things for my family here. Also, when the children were young we had a table where the island bench is now. We spent time laughing and crying around that table. If I remember things right, that was where our precious daughter told us she was really in love. A few years later she married that boy, now our darling son-in-law. We made many precious memories at that table. I miss that table so much. However, today I am making chocolate-chocolate chip biscuits!
Hi Girls I am so excited I do a small amount of sewing today it felt so good. I can't wait till I get our bedroom is done and I can sew as much as I want. Before we started renovating I sewed every day well just about, I miss it so much. Anyhoo I must go and do more in our room so I shall say bye! oxoxo
Well, today has been another good day. I got a lot done in my bedroom so thats good tomorrow should see me finished. I also got a lot of cooking done some spare meals for days that I work hard on my home it will save money on not having to buying take aways. YES GO ME!!! I know God has helped me do this much He is so wonderful. I love Him so much for what He does for me. The birds that sing, the gentle breeze that blows, the blossom on the tree out side my kitchen window, my silly chooks that cluck all day, my naughty cats Anna/Belle. My precious family and friends on FlyLady. My wonderful Hubby (the love of my life) There is just so much I am thankful for! I can almost not contain it thats how wonderful and precious God is to me!

Hi, well today is Mine and Ant's 29 Wedding Anniversary we are not going to go out today but we will cerebrate it in the week ahead. Ant and Josh are not to well and my Mum was going to have Josh but she is sick as well. So I think it is best if we all get well first. Anyhoo I am off to do more painting now I will be back soon!
Well I have done more in the bed room so I am a happy Girl I have also done some shopping and some Flying so all in all a cool day. It has been raining today which was wonderful I love it when it rains the sound the smell and of course the way the bush greens up it's just so wonderful! oxoxoxo

Hi everyone, well I am going to hopefully finish my room this weekend. But for now Ant, Josh and I are going for a lovely drive through the bush. I love the Aussie bush it smells so good and it's starting to green up now so it's just beautiful. Anyhoo I will catch you later!
Well things are going really well here, our room is coming along nicely. I am painting roses on the walls now then the pine trim goes up and then we can move back into our new room again. It's been fun sleeping in the lounge but I am looking forward to having the lounge room back as a lounge room. It's a beautiful day today the sun is shining and it's cool but not cold. The home is quiet Ant is eating breakfast and Josh is still asleep all I can hear is the dryer working it's nice. Anyhoo I will be back later those roses wont paint themselves ;-) oxoxoxo
Well, I have had a great day. I have almost finished our bedroom, I am going for a romantic look and it's shaping up well. I need to do one more coat of white background before painting on the roses! Anyhoo I am spent so I am off for a bubble bath and then bed! oxoxoxoxo
Hi we have just had a wonderful time at my Sister's and Brother in law's pace it was such a lovely family time. I love my family so much and love spending time with them this Easter has been so good so far and I am trusting God that it will be the best we have had!
Hi, well today went well Ant slept most of the day and I got into things that needed doing. I went to Bunnings to get some paint and stuff to freshen up our bedroom so cool.

I shall get more of the home done tomorrow. Today I did the Easter shopping and put a few thing in plan for Ant. Tomorrow I shouldn't need to go out I should have the whole day at home. Or so I am hopping! I will be back later on!
Well today has ended better than it started the doctor was a good help so all is going well. Ant has a long way to go but at least things are improving now. I can't say I feel safe but I do think I am safer than I was last night! GOOD NIGHT!
My heart was broken into a million pieces last night my Hubby had a bad break in his recovery he got so upset about life that he put his fist through a window just to deal with frustration and anger. I don't know how to help him other than to Pray. I also made him an appointment with the doctor today and rung the autistic ass. for some advice if you could pray for me that I will have wisdom in this situation I would appreciate it greatly. I have not had any sleep so I may try for some now. oxoxooxo

Well today has ended better than I thought. Ant and I spent the night watching a good movie and snuggling up on the couch so all is well that ends well! I love him (Ant) with all my heart when God put us together He really did know what He was doing! Thank you Lord! Good Night!
My Sister went home today and I miss her so much it has been so wonderful having her and her family here. I am so tired from all our going out that I slept most of the day. Anyhoo tomorrow I shall get my little home back in order and spend some time baking for my family!

Hi, I haven't been here in a while. I have had my Sister over from the Eastern side of Australia she goes back on Sunday morning at 5:30am. So I shall miss her a lot when she goes back:-( However it's been great having her and her family here for almost 3 weeks. Tonight I took up some trousers for her before she leaves and I made her a necklace to wear to a wedding she is attending on Sunday evening. So we had fun making things and eating home made Chocolate Eclairs I made this afternoon. It's been really fun! However it is late and I must go to bed so I shall say good night before all of this reminiscing make me cry. Nighty Night! oxoxoxoxo

Weekend Update

Well we managed just fine! In fact it was easy! The grocery bill came in
$70 under budget and we still have $6.55 left of our weekend spending money
to put...
First and foremost, I am a child of God. I am married with 2 grown children: a son and a daughter, plus a son-in-law.
I love long walks along the beach with the love of my life, my husband. I love the first fire for the winter - it always smells so good and it doesn't take long for the whole home to be warmed up.
I love the smell of fresh bread baking in my kitchen.
I love the look on my family's faces when there are fresh biscuits cooking in the oven.
I enjoy my family very much and love going out with them and spending time around them.
God gave me the most wonderful man and the most beautiful Children - all 3 of them!
